You’re Not Lost — You’re Rebuilding: How to Trust the In-Between Seasons

Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re rebuilding. Here’s how to trust your journey through the messy middle. 🦋

You’re Not Lost — You’re Rebuilding: How to Trust the In-Between Seasons

Nobody really talks about the middle part.

The part after you leave the life you once settled for —
but before the new life you’re creating fully blooms.

The part where you don’t fully recognize yourself anymore —
but you're still too tender to stand fully in who you're becoming.

The in-between is messy.
It’s lonely.
It’s scary.

And if you’re here right now — feeling lost, tired, uncertain, floating —
I want you to know something:

You are not broken.
You are not lost.
You are rebuilding.

Myth of Constant Progress

We live in a world obsessed with “constant progress.”

Be better.
Do more.
Manifest faster.
Level up quicker.

But healing, becoming, transforming?
It’s not linear.
It’s not fast.
It’s not flashy.

Real rebuilding is slow, sacred work.

It’s undoing years of survival mode.
It’s gently peeling off layers that no longer fit.
It’s stepping into the unknown with trembling hands — and choosing to trust that something beautiful is

When I Felt the Most “Lost”

I remember a season when I was sure I had ruined everything.

I had walked away from people, patterns, and paths that no longer aligned —
but I hadn't yet built the new life I knew I was meant for.

I wasn’t who I used to be anymore.
But I wasn’t "her" yet either —
the woman I dreamed about becoming.

It was terrifying.
It was humbling.
It was sacred.

Because in that space — the space where nothing made sense —
I found pieces of myself I would have never seen if everything had gone “according to plan.”

The in-between is where the true magic happens.
Even if it doesn't feel like magic while you're living it.

You’re Not Lost — You’re In the Middle of Becoming

If your life feels like a construction zone right now,
if you feel like you’re walking through fog,
if you can't explain where you're headed but you know you can't go back...

Good.

It means you're listening to your soul.
It means you're honoring the shift.
It means you’re brave enough to keep going even without a map.

You are not lost.
You are becoming.
You are rebuilding.

7 Ways to Trust Yourself During the In-Between:

1. Celebrate Micro Wins

You don't have to wait for the "big moment" to celebrate.

✅ You set a boundary you used to avoid?
✅ You said no to something that drained you?
✅ You took care of your mental health today instead of pushing through?

THAT is progress.
Small wins build new lives.

2. Anchor Into Daily Rituals

When everything feels chaotic, create tiny anchors.

✨ A five-minute morning grounding practice.
✨ A gratitude note scribbled in a journal.
✨ A slow walk without your phone.

Small daily rituals create a sense of safety while the big things shift.

3. Trust the Invisible Work

Not all growth is visible.

Some days you won’t feel like you’re healing.
Some weeks you’ll question everything.

But deep, cellular change happens silently.
Trust the work happening underground.

Your soul knows what it's doing even when your mind panics.

4. Let Yourself Be a Beginner

You’re learning how to live differently.
That means you’ll stumble.
That means you’ll feel awkward.

You don’t have to master your healing overnight.
You don’t have to be graceful all the time.
You just have to keep choosing yourself.

5. Hold the Vision, Loosely

Have dreams.
Have goals.
But hold them loosely enough to let life surprise you.

Sometimes the dream you’re clinging to isn't big enough for who you’re becoming.

Stay open.
Stay curious.
Stay willing to be amazed.

6. Stay Connected to Soul-Aligned Spaces

Healing is hard enough without trying to do it alone.

Find spaces where your healing is honored, not rushed.
Spaces where growth is celebrated, even when it's messy.

(This is why I created Soulful Shift Academy — a space to rise, safely, together.)

7. Forgive the Days You Doubt

There will be days when you question everything.
There will be days when you feel like giving up.

Forgive yourself for those days.
Love yourself through those days.

They do not erase your progress.
They make you human.
They make your rising real.

3 Things I Wish I Knew About Healing Before I Started:

1. Healing Isn’t Just About Getting “Better” — It’s About Coming Home

It’s not about becoming a perfect version of yourself.
It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who you had to be.

Healing is coming home — to your own heart, your own soul, your own truth.

2. You Will Mourn Old Versions of Yourself

Even the unhealthy versions.
Even the survival-mode versions.

Because those parts of you got you here.
They protected you when you didn’t know how to protect yourself.

Grieve them.
Thank them.
And then let them go.

3. You’re Allowed to Love Your Life Before It's Fully Healed

You don't have to wait until everything is perfect to feel joy.

You don't have to wait until every piece is put back together to be proud of yourself.

There is joy in the middle.
There is magic in the middle.
There is life happening right now.

Don't miss it waiting for "after."

Journaling Through the In-Between

✨ What parts of me am I learning to trust right now?
✨ What would I say to my past self about the journey I’m on?
✨ What is one thing I can celebrate about myself today — no matter how small?

You Are Rising (Even When You Can’t Feel It)

You don’t need to “get it together” faster.
You don’t need to be further along.
You don’t need to know exactly how this ends.

You are allowed to be in the middle.
You are allowed to trust yourself even when you don’t have all the answers.
You are allowed to believe that this space — this messy, uncertain, beautiful space — is sacred.

You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You’re not lost.

You are rebuilding. 🦋

And one day, you’ll look back on this season
and realize it built the strongest, softest, most powerful version of you.
